Can anyone recommend a helmet within the $100-$200 range? Preferably one that is sold in local stores so that I could try before making my decision :D
For road or mtb?
There are a few place where you can try, Rodalink (better to go their West side outlet coz got wider range, been to their outlet along East Coast Road and was told that), Bike Continent (more mtb helmets like Fox, TLD, Fly), inlineX (majority are Bell helmets from what I rmb when I last went their outlet at Serangoon Garden, they got one outlet at Clarke Quay also).

for road cycling.

I'm thinking of giro savant or foray, or some of the lower end bell model. For those who had those helmets, are you happy with them? is there sufficient ventilation and comfort?

Foray is pretty comfy and lightweight for it's price point.

As you go higher up in the models, in general is just weight savings.

But it is best you can try them on before you buy. I tried some helmets at Treknology before I bought my Foray, and they just felt so uncomfortable.

Hi, If I have a budget of $250/-, which 1st hand model should I be looking at?

Usage : leisure light cycling (1-2hr daily), mainly on pathway, park connector or Bedok Reservoir (might avoid it while the bicycle is new due to sandy pathway). :s13:
