with a Citibank CC, you can benefit from a CC instalment plan on online AppleStore... and you may have a shorter waiting period and have door-step delivery included...

Haswell's architecture benefits notebooks more than desktops, because it is designed to be more efficient in power use, which means you get more from the same batteries.

Haswell's improved integrated GPU is not going to benefit desktops that much, simply because most of them would have a discrete GPU, which all current iMacs have.

You can read more here. Not everything that is new will be better than the previous generation. This time, the new architecture simply serves another purpose better.
