You put price without putting your destination? If you plan to go Tokyo and land in Narita still can get between 8-900. Haneda usually more ex

Would like some suggestion for me to plan for upcoming mid Nov trip,

1. with toddler about 7/8 Nights
2. more easy going .. see scenery and easy walks worth with dotter ( she can walk 5km ) and the usual kids stuff
3. tokyo + Gotemba + Lake Kawaguchi + ??.. maybe spend 3/4 nights+ 2/1 nights + 2/1 nights
4. thought of driving to Gotemba + Lake + ?? ( which rental cheap or is it required )

would like some location inputs.. don't think I want to go more than 3places..but would like some ideas.

If you're thinking of driving, kawaguchi is good for at least overnight trip. Early mornings and evenings will be less crowded at popular places.

Nikko is also good.

Gotemba is big, how much time depends on you.

Moi did gotemba/kawaguchi 3D2N in Nov a few years ago. First day, Tokyo drive to Kawaguchi, went to the Fujiyoshida (arakurayama sengan, Fujiyoshida area) > Oishi park. The next day went to Kawaguchiko for a quick photo taking and then went to Gotemba premium outlet for the rest of the day.

Driving will be much more convenient and flexible though I did encounter jam while driving back to Tokyo

just confirming so gotemba > lake kawaguchi > nikko all manageable driving distance?
maybe can spend a day at gotemba.. besides nikko any that I should consider?

don't tihnk will disney since too young.. likely maybe if there is any cool playground indoor or outdoor for her should be ok.

Gotemba , kawaguchi in the same area, so it is manageable to drive around.

Never been to Nikko but it is in a different direction ... Might have drive back to Tokyo first if coming from gotemba area.

Anyone departed from Osaka kansai airport recently? How the queue situation like ? I will be taking SQ on Saturday 1130pm night flight.

The last time I took back from Osaka was feb 2024 thru scoot airline. It was horrible. Long queue at check in counter followed by another jam at the security/ custom . It took 2 hours and all I left was rushed to the departure gate to board the plane . Even I reached the airport early also didn't help at all . I hope current situation won't be bad !

You can pick up your rental car at odawara and drive to kawaguchiko or hakone. Manageable distance.

My Apr trip was hakone > gotemba > kawaguchiko. Kamakura is also drivable but not sure what the crowds are like in Nov for Kamakura and nikko.

Did you set one location as a base? So one day each for g,h and k ?
