Asrock B85M pro4 bios beep code

Just assembled my PC that I bought just now..

When I tried booting it up, the buzzer that I attached on the mobo made 4 short beeps, can't find any info on the interwebz so I made this thread.

Oh yes, seems like one stick of 8gb ddr3 is dead, but the dead ram doesn't affect the bios beeps.
I triple checked all the connections already, all connections are good.

Didi i wonder.... have you tried clearing CMOS by removing battery and see if it works? Some times i do have experience that motherboard out of the box have 'dirty' BIOS settings, so just remove to 'cleanse' the BIOS.

Try remounting the heatsink and check the CPU socket pins too while you are at it.
