Asrock Z87 Killer

Does anyone has any experience with this mobo or Asrock in general? I've been looking around for one that would support SLI and RAID 1/1/5/10, analog audio channel + optical out, and came up with this.

I feel like I'm getting great deal with this mobo + +i5 4570 3.2 with Best Bargain ($452), but I couldn't find enough reviews on it.

I love the look of it as well, soooo yeah.

If you are looking for a RAID function without overclocking. Best is go for h87 board. No need to go til Z87 not unless you overclock your cpu.

And yes if you are planning to look at sli functions a z87 will be needed.

If want oc get z87 with k series cpu. If not just h87. No point getting z87 paired with non k processor

Right now I've narrowed it down to my last 2 choices

ASUS Z87-A w/ i5-4670k for some overclock - $547 with Best Bargain Computers
ASUS H87-PRO w/ i5-4570 for a safe run - $434 with Best Bargain Computers

I'm already gonna get the Cooler Master Hyper 212X, so that should keep my system cool enough for simple and safe OCs

if u dun intend to OC, there is no need to get a 3rd party cooler.

That time went down help you all check price on the gtx780 and 770. He quoted gigabyte at $625 iirc. Then press press calculator $623 best price. $2 also need push calculator.

I'm quite new to the whole DIY scene so I'm not sure about the shop prices, been working my numbers off the price lists on HWZ.

Best Bargain's processor and mobo seem much cheaper on the list compared to other shops uh.

Any advice on what shops to go to then? Like good prices. Usually they give you more discount if you buy more things off the same shop right?

It would be good to get frm one shop, more bargaining power. With that said, some other shops may have promos. Can ask for price match or just get that particular item from other shops if not possible for price match.

Trade pac is generally the cheapest single shop around here?

I can diy fix myself np. Don't really want to let them fix it for me.

Anything to look out for if I buy from them? I know should check if boxes are sealed and check everything before I go.

I think I would just order my case and get it delivered instead so don't need to carry so much things home haha.
