they dont' have to give up any of their salaries(or lack of) in exchange for any kinds of assistance.
other kinds of taxes, affected everyone anyway, as long as you spend money for any services/goods.

taxes are skewed towards those that are better off.
Dont make alot salary? your income tax is peanuts .
Dont have car? no need pay petrol tax, coe etc
Dont drink ? no need pay alcohol tax.
Dont have private? your property tax is peanuts .
Dont have enuff $ ? wait we tax more people and give you.
etc

Only gst is uniform and consistent.

So obvious this is a socialist gov. The moment back in the day when they changed the income tax to non-linear.
There isn't anymore motivation to work hard and succeed.
The best is to layback and take handouts. Dont work so hard.
