Amazing how ignorant some people can be even though this is their own profession. Or they are just waiting for instructions from their bank.

According to the preliminary prospectus lodged with MAS Opera, the Class A-1 bond tranche will be offered to retail investors in Singapore via ATMs and internet banking (DBS, UOB, OCBC), as well as DBS mobile banking. But the dates are not set yet.

Yup. Read the prospectus. I hope to get a big amt of these placement bonds. Not ATMs cos subject yo balloting. If thru ATMs what is the point of going thru Treasures? The RMs went "you will have access tp lounge blar blar...". I just cut short the conversation as obviously they dony get it. I dont need to put idle money for just that.

It is book building now so shld be able to place indicative orders liao?

Ooh I see, you are very informed indeed. Ironically DBS is one of the Lead Managers and Underwriters so they should be very eager to sell them to you :s11:

Should write them a firm email and CC Piyush Gupta.

Headline is misleading and may confuse retail investors who are less well-informed.
It is issued by Azalea which is a subsidiary of Temasek.
This bond is not in anyway underwritten or guaranteed by Temasek. Point to note.
Though it will interesting to see what interest rate they will be offering.

You can’t expect all the bankers to know all the global stocks and bonds details right unless they are brief to market

Interested the ASTREA IV, any risk involve? If keep for 10 years, the principal and interest are guaranteed? If to sell before that depend on the value at that time like stock which normally will loss money. 4%+ guarantee is very tempting.

They won't let it go past 5 years. The interest they need to pay would rise after 5 years.

Unlikely they will recall. Step up interest is still lower than that of A-2 and class B bond

They cannot choose not to recall if the money in their coffer is enough for full redemption. Read the Q&A.
