Asus 4500U from Newegg

I think this model is not available in Singapore and Newegg is selling at <$1K. Do you think it's worth it to risk it buying from overseas?

If you buy from us, Asus will only service the laptop if you mail it back to their service center in US. This is how their international warranty works.

U need to read the terms & conditions. I cannot say for Asus USA but I bought my Asus in Singapore and I could send my laptop to repair when I was in Bangkok.

You can send it back because Asus based their support on regions. Singapore, and Thailand are in the same region. So you can get support.

More ryzen 4th gen (4300,4500,4700) laptops crawling out, with very few reaching Sg; hopefully a lot more before xmas. The 4th gen uses 7nm = lower power, higher clock and cooler = worth the wait.

ASUS is regional warranty for set purchased in Singapore? May not be international. This is country depending eg. If you buy Thinkpad is USD. Tge warranty coverage is different from Singapore.
