guys, while testing a pair of SLI cards I noticed one was hotter than the other while running a stress test/bench, Swoppws the cards around between both slots and 1 card was definitely hotter than the other.repeated this and the result was consistent. Single card tests also proved one card to be hotter than the other.

examining the hot card (15C hotter at full load) i noticed the outer fan of the DC2 was slanted and when it was spinning it was slightly wobbly. Compared this to the other card and the other card was flushed horizontally.

I suppose this is a problem ? check out the picture, this is cross section,..see the fan blade protruding out ?

In SLI/Xfire it is always normal that the 1st card usually is hotter than the 2nd.

And fyi, do you know how SLI/Xfire works in the first place?

If you know how it works, this type of question shouldnt have been asked.

read the post PROPERLY. single card test showed that 1 card is hotter than the other. I obviously know what SLI and split frame is.

Sorry about the picture. No idea why it won't render.
