I nearly cried of laughter when I found out such posts are being made.

No la honestly I can't say for sure if you are being sarcastic but I just know you are. Hehe, I agree la you cant really say giving a 14 y/o kid a 4 grand rig is meaningful at all. Could have bought many budget rigs for really unfortunate people, or food, or whatever.

BUT

This is Asus, and they are doing a business. Be glad they even do these and I sincerely hope the boy enjoys his rig and puts it to good academic use, as well as occasional gaming of course. Whether this proves to be an obstacle to his academic results shouldn't be Asus fault if the boy cannot limit himself (or parents).

Hmmm. Thumbs up to Asus for helping the boy.. But the rig kinda a bit over-done? He doesn't seem to be in stable financial status. Power bills will plague him. :x

Maybe next one consider the power consumption if u come across another low income family?

ya . the bill will be high. plus i think its overkill aldy.
800$ budget build should be enuf for him, or just throw in an i7k and he is all good. 4k is crazy. n bill is crazy also

Thanks for the feedback, really hope you guys enjoy it. Yeah, we know it's kinda overkill. But we hope this PC can last him for at least 6-7 years down the road since he is still in secondary school.

Tech stuff change pretty fast, by the time 6-7 years, it could be outdated already.
