Dock is selling @ USD149. It is sold out within few hr in US.

Ya. I just drop Asus feedback form on this.
Asking why their exchange rate usd to sgd exchange rate is 1.75.
How they get this exchange rate when the current ex rate is 1.22

@ first I though of getting, looking @ the price, forget it. Might as well get ipad 2, cheaper SGD $668 with it selling @ USD $499.

I am very interested in getting this. But miss the 100 sets preorder where they sell it for $699 with the keyboard dock. Now I hope got some shops will still sell it at around $699 with keyboard dock. If not might have to wait till IT Show for some promo..

yeah.... singapore pricing for transformer is on the high side...

anyway bundled deal is suppose to bring the price of the dock down compared to standalone at least in the US... ie US$100 instead of US$150

singapore is the 1st country in SEA to get it meh....US/UK all sold out meh.....not sure of Taiwan

Taiwan release for quite sometime.. but if buy from Taiwan, I don't know how and don't think the price is good.. buy from us is good cos of our currency strength..

$399 x 1.23(ex rate) + $50(transportation) +$18 (insurance) + 7% GST = $597.88

Still $100 cheaper from buying in SG.

Just need to wait for new stock in US.

need to charge 3% more for CC rates and need to wait for US to stock up and the price does not include dock.

So got pros and cons also..

I only scared come 9 may 2011, asus dont have enough stock for those 100 pre order one then really is chaos liao...
