Hi, sorry, noob here.
Where can i go to add more ram power to my ASUS K20CD-K-SG012T desktop? I have contacted Asus contact centre and they have informed me that the max ram power my cpu can have is 8GB. (Currently now on 4GB)

Will it be an additional device plugged in to my cpu or does someone need to open up the device to install whatever that i require?

Looking for some help and directions.

Thank you in advance.

You need to first open up your case to see when your motherboard has 1 or 2 ram slots.

If only 1 ram slots, buy a 8gig ram to replace existing 4gig ram.

Google yourself the rest of your questions.

This Asus desktop seems to be using SO-DIMM ram (or commonly known as laptop ram).

Please verify yourself.

Open CPU case, take photos of ram slot and close up photo of the ram. Those shops at sim lim should be able to advise you accordingly?

If you can open the PC casing and take pictures of the insides, post online, make sure it is bright and clear. I am sure the bros here will be able to help you.

I do often passby SimLimSquare. Do PM me if you need help or purchase from that area, if u live somewhere near me.

Didn't know that the 2nd storey had so many foodstalls. Rmb there is only 1 stall there. Another foodstalls at 1st storey but external.
