Hi,

Does anyone advise how do I remove the laptop bottom case so that I can upgrade the Hdd to SSD?

I have removed all the visible screws but I just can't open it. I tried searching online but there are no available materials which can guide me.

Any help is appreciated .
Thanks

i dont know how to describe to you but you have to pry it open.

my asus x550dp comes with built in batt like yours, and i had to pry it open slowly. careful if still under warranty use something like creditcard and go in between.. also check under the rubber.. might have screws

From Asus :

We have consulted with our service team and they have informed us that the Asus service centre does not suggest swapping the current hardware with 3rd party components. Replacement of the current HDD with a new SSD will void the warranty.
