I have a Asus laptop with in built battery. I seldom use it. So one day the battery died, cannot be charge. I need plug in switch in order to turn on my laptop. How come the battery will die so easily?

Which Asus service centre should I go down? Burn Road that one?

Hello, not an expert here but from what I understand, ion batteries are like that. If you don't use it often, the strength of the charge will be weakened and it will get worst if you drain all the battery power and charge it back to 100% again..

How old is your laptop? I had a Asus laptop for 5 years and the battery only last less than 30 minutes..

Think most laptop batt regardless is removable or builtin last est 1.5yrs. If use often might be ard 1yr most.

For removable battery it is best to use it at least once or twice a month without power supply.
Then let it drain to minimum and charge to full and finally remove to keep.
This is to maintain the battery to hold charge at all time.
