ASUS Laptop freezes unless tilted

My laptop freezes on startup unless it is tilted upwards (space bar in the air). Happens during shutdown too.

Keyboard also not working now.

Anyone has experience like this?

Looks like harddisk issue to me.

Yes. It is likely harddisk issue as this is the only mechanical part that is related to the softwares. Remember to back up your data when you can. Keyboard should be a separate issue, not related to the freezing part.
