ASUS NAS AS-1002T - WEBUI

Hi !
Anyone here using Asus NAS AS-1002T ? I have a question regarding the torrent software. Does it support WebAPI and WebUI like the uTorrent ?
Reason I ask is that I have used Asus router before and the client looks very primitive. I'm currently using Buffalo NAS and I like the uTorrent client web interface very much. I can also use Firefox BT WebUI+ addon to add torrent easily.

There are a number of BT client apps for this NAS, namely Deluge, qBittorrent, Transmission, etc. All have some sort of webUI as this is the only way of communicating with a headless server, ie. the NAS.

Why not just use the apps provided by Asustor ?

I have the as1002t and unfortunately qbittorrent and deluge are depreciated and no longer updated.

They should have their own brand of torrent client called download center.

Also the as1002t has only 512mb of ram and a low powered CPU and can't really download torrents as fast as a desktop or more powerful nas.

But Deluge latest version is available. Best to stick to Transmission as it's an approved BT client for both private/public sites.

Can't really compared BT performance between PC and NAS but most of these client do not need a lot of resources to run. My first NAS with just 64MB ran Transmission with good download speed, it's the IDE HDD that find it hard to keep up.
