Hi guys, recently i bought a new motherboard, an asus p8b75-m, and a new processor, i5 3570k, 2 new ram, kingston ddr3 4gig 1600mhz. After putting everything together, i can boot the cpu, the fans are running, but there's nothing on my monitor. And also the red LED light on the m/b is on. I was hoping that you hardware savvy people can help me. Afterall this is my first time attempting on this kind of thing. Any help will be much much much appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, a slight update on my situation:

right now, only 2 ram slots (further away from cpu) are working,by working i meant no red dram light.

when i connect my monitor to the integrated graphics, my screen doesnt show anything, same thing when i connect to my gfx card vga slot.

when i tried with another monitor, the integrated part doesnt show my screen either, but it does for my gfx card slot.

I understand that there might be a chance the my monitor is faulty, but i tested it with a laptop and it's working fine.

So can i really hope that you kind people will help me out here. thank you so much in advance.

Beep sounds no. not anything coming out from the cpu. I dont not have any speakers attached yet.

Do a minimum boot first i.e. boot with the following.
1. Onboard video(remove the radeon HD 6450 from the motherboard)
2. 1 RAM module
3. CPU+fan+heatsink

If it boot to the BIOS screen, connect then hard disk. If not, swap RAM module. Be careful when mounting the CPU and make sure you get the oreintation correct. When you are able to boot into windows then start installing the radeon HD 6450. Step by step approach. Otherwise you won't know what cause the problem.

First, reset your BIOS by removing the battery and make sure both rams are in the correct slot.
