lol, looks like you haven quite grasp the idea of the padfone.

The tablet itself is like a dummy station with battery, larger screen and speakers.

So think of it as a docking monitor.

it doesn't have a processor or memory in it.

So do you think it can function without the phone?

Just visit the service center this morning, no sign of accessories for Padfone 2.

My phone died this morning...suddenly it become very slow so I try to restart it but it won't power on again.....( Send for repair, think need to change MB

no u don. send it back to asus service center. i heading there now for collection. had the same issue.

Got my phone repaired. I had camera dust issues and loud speaker distortion. I collected and checked the camera lens. It was clean but the problem still persist. They repaired on the spot and made me waited for another 15 mins

They can't find the solution but to replace the whole camera.

Left my phone at the service centre on Sat and got it back today.

They could not identify the reason causing this loss of signal, so they had the motherboard replaced.

I would say the repair was quite speedy and the queue wasn't that long (probably due to the time which I went). Customer service was good too!

really, i sent my phone for repair on 27/02/2013 because it just went dead all of the sudden and till today, they informed me that my phone is still under repair and they have no idea when it is gonna get back from repair centre. the cso on the phone told me they cannot do anything unless it pass the 5 working days grace before they can help me to enquire to the repair centre what is taking so long for my phone to be repair.

this is my first android phone and the service given by the manufacturer is so sub-standard. should have chosen the main stream brands like samsung or htc or sony.

Hmmm maybe I was just lucky.. when I sent in for the repair, I narrowed down the possibilities for the cause of the loss of signal, so maybe they just went straight to the issue..

Anyway today would be the 5th working day, so you can go down to the service centre to bang table already..

I have the exact same issue as yours... I sent it in on 4 Mar 13. Hopefully can get it back soon...

I got one from eBay, it's less than USD3 with free shipping, i think if you search around there, you should be able to get something.

Mine works perfectly even when using card readers.

What are you using as the cover/ casing for your pad station? I'm still using the brown Asus sleeve but Dun feel secured to use the pad station.
