Anybody has fb issue? I always ended up black screen. And Whatsapp Don update even though smart saving is switched off.

Haha. Reinstall fb doesn't solve the problem. I will try flash tw firmware and see if it works

Hi, as recommended by a HWZ Forumer, u can get the Padfone 2 customized screen protector in Sim Lim Sq. On the ground level, a booth manned by a lady. She'll cut to size (including the rounded corners) for u.
Cost is $12 for Padfone 2, $25 for Padstation.
Yes, u still can slot into the Padstation with the screen protector.

Did u unlock? If unlock then OTA is disabled. But i checked Asus website also nothing on their server.

Nope.. Did not unlock

But OTA still unavailable.. If anyone has successfully updated on the TW firmware to JB, pls let us know

Maybe bcos his is tw set? Not sure if it affects. Anyw, its quite random who gets the notification if I'm not wrong.

I don't think my set being a TW set makes a difference. I have flashed through SG and WWE firmware into it and it picked up any new FW updates almost immediately. I am checking with another friend of mine who's also on a TW set (bought together with me) if he managed to receive the update notification.

Update: my friend who bought his Padfone 2 with me in Taiwan also received the Jelly Bean update.

halo guys~ got a qns to ask, cos i'm using qvod to load nwatch dramas/movies but i dunno y i dl/ed a movie in padfone 2 but can't seems to watch it in my padfone but able to in my padfone station and the loading of sites seems to be abit haywire.

Can anyone help me wif this pls?

Running Hot

I have the PF1 and it overheats with regular phone speaking use. In this thread there have been several comments on the PF2 running hot during charging and surfing in the station. Is anyone seeing it running hot after long phone calls also?

I just got my set today and I tried flashing the .41 TW firmware. After selecting the zip file in recovery mode it tried unpacking but reported operation failed due to file not found. And strange enough I can no longer locate the file after that. So I thought I should just reboot and now it's struck on the booting screen with the Asus logo and white loading ring. Any help please?

Managed to boot into screen after doing a factory reset, but why did the flashing failed in the first place?

Never mind, I didn't noticed I've to plug in the power cable before updating
