Currently using the flip case for the s3 on my pf2 and I notice that the top and bottom (right side) is slightly exposed.. really hope more casing for the pf2 will come out soon

Hi, wondering anyone try rooting the phone with latest firmware? I couldn't run the unlock tool provided by Asus. It gave me the following error:

An unknown error occurs, which may be a network connection issue.
Please wait and try again later

When I was in TW version, I couldn't get the garmin running properly and now under WWE version but couldn't root the phone to get garmin working also... sigh..

Yeah, that helps a bit.. Tho the main problem is when you're taking the phone out, you kinda need to put pressure to grip.. I think that's when it's most prone to scratches..

Yeah, removing is a more troublesome issue. Here's how I do it: first tilt the station towards you (screen is facing you), then use just the least amount of force to separate the phone. Then tilt it 90 degrees (screen facing upwards), you should be able to feel the phone is lying on the railings. Then slide out the phone using the sides as the point of contact again. Just make sure you dont drop your phone

no luck in unlocking here as well. both WWE_V10.4.9.6 & V10.4.5.36. encounter network error connection. have already email asus on this. waiting for their reply

Hi, anyone encounter problem with game apps? I'm using jelly bean now, and I found that a few of the games I just installed always shut down after I logged into the games. I dunno if its becos of the jelly bean as I didn't play that games in ics. Thanks.

hi guys, in order to use garmin maps do i have to flash the WWE firmware AND root the phone to use? my phone is currently running on the default 4.0.4 starhub firmware.

The games are shadow era, Heaven sword and cabals: the card game. Everytime I try to log in with my username, they just shut down and return to home screen. Thanks.

Please advice me urgently.. after Starhub OTA update yesterday, I tried to dock in my padfone to Padstation, but now it has no reaction at all/blackscreen only.. I didnt had any prob when in ICS.. can anyone advice me checkpoint what to check?

Is your station charged? When phone not docked, connect to charger see if the charging icon shows in the middle. Try with phone docked too. If it does not work, have to send it in. There is a Asus eCustomer support sub forum here in hardwarezone, you can report your issue there.

those who bought the padfone 2 without contract, how much did u spend? and where did u buy it from?

Bought mine from Starhub authorised dealer in Clementi. $1099 for 32 GB version.

My best bet will be from the speaker grill or 3.5mm audio jack...

I am going to try removing the battery cover (which I have done a few times), then use a vacuum cleaner and suck all the holes around the camera and see if I can get the dust out tomorrow.
