Holy **** my phone just died on me.
Was transferring some files onto the phone when both my phone and computer hanged. Pulled out the cable and then the phone just switched off by itself. Now I can't even boot it up.. Doesn't even reach the ASUS booting animation.


Cant enter recovery also. Any ideas guys?

oh, sounds like a corrupted file system of sorts..

If you can't get it to even boot anything, the only choice left is Asus service center

Good news! Both shipment 1 & 2 is now sitting in Singpost waiting for my collection, once I collect it this afternoon and check the cases, I will be sending out SMS to everyone to coordinate the collection and final payment. Thank you all for the patience.

How did you get into TW firmware in the first place?

TW firmware is the only firmware that has 2 partitions due to garmin maps.

So your first flash will re-partition it back to a single whole partition and then it will abort.

Now you should flash the WWE zip again the second time

The second flash will overwrite the files in /system.

Then reboot and you have WWE.

If you are stuck at boot logo, don panic.
Just long press the power button to turn off the phone.
Then reboot into recovery mode again and factory reset



PS: I have mentioned this on this thread at least 5 times alr

Sorry one more question. Will doing this wipe the data off the phone?

You can't disturb the file system actively,
It is usually corrupted due to plugging out the device before the cache is flushed.

The hanging of transferring files let me thought of this issue.
So it might be a previous transfer or the current transfer that caused the problem

Sorry one more question. Will doing this wipe the data off the phone?

Yes. Factory reset/wipe data will wipe everything, including all the files and folders on the storage.


You can backup all data before you attempt this.

If you switched from Starhub to WWE or WWE to starhub,
there is no need to wipe data as no re-partition is needed.

Depends on how much u wanna protect ur phone cos the phone is quite prone to wear and tear if using naked which happened to me

sent to Asus for repair. they say it will take 5 working days to change the motherboard.

Just wondering, I changed to wwe version. Will affect my warranty if they found out? I mean, its not like I unlock boot loader or anything..

Asus updated TW firmware V10.4.11.13 just not long ago but it was taken down... Similar to what happened to V10.4.7.10 a few weeks back

i think its because of the new s4 pro chipset.. i had jb on my transformer pad, and all those games runs flawlessly..

i miss playing my favourite games
