Padfone 2 laggy/hang a few seconds

Hi all,

Just got onto the padfone 2 bandwagon.

Being enjoying the experience so far. Have only 1 major issue so far - the phone will intermittently gets laggy or hang for 1-2 seconds. This seems to occur when mobile internet connection is weak (but possibly when the phone is accessing the internal storage). Was using Note 2 and other android phones prior to this and didn't encounter this issue.

Hve just upgraded to WWE V10.4.11.13. Issue seems to be better but still present. FYI, am on Singapore M1 network.

Anyone else experiencing this issue and managed to resolve it?

i had the same thing before, intermittent lag. But after using this I can safely say it's really smooth even though I've opened like 10+ apps. not just any apps, graphic intensive ones.

eg nfs, gmail, chrome, whatsapp, asus gallery.

u have to unlock the bootloader to flash custom roms. when u unlock ur bootloader, ur device s/n will be sent to asus

same though i bought it from ebay Heat Setting TPE Case for Asus PadFone 2 Android Smartphone 2 Gen Stylus E98X | eBay, but it was only US$12.49 plus shipping when i bought it on 8 Jan. shipping took 13 days from hong kong. the front piece has a little cushioning while the back is all hard. beneath the skin is definitely more than just cardboard pieces. it feels plasticky when i try to bend it. the stylus is just an extremely cheapo piece of plastic and you have to press rather hard to get the screen to respond. material quality and aesthetically i think it is worth US$12.49, but now that it costs US$20.99 and shipping takes so long imo might as well wait for the asus official case (which im gonna get when it comes out).

May not be wiped.

But just backup in case.

You will need to flash twice.

First time it will abort as it is re-partitioning.

The 2nd time will overwrite the /system files

Anyone have ever experience a sudden dip of battery before? My phone experience it twice. After it drop til 20~% range it will suddenly drop til 0% overnight. When I view the battery settings it will show that somehow it soar til max then drop very steeply til 0%.
