Haiz.. I sent it down last Wednesday.. I was more or less prepared for the lost of data bcoz I suspected it was a MB issue. But I din get to backup my phone previously..
How long did it take to fix the phone? Told me was 5 working days but like doubt so ler
I'm not sure for your case, for my case they take 2 weeks as there were no MB available. You can start calling on the 5th working days if they didn't call you on the status. Hope they still have MB for you :o

Mine works. So far can run continuously for about 1 hour. That's the longest duration I've tested.

I am able to connect to the phone via the wifi hotspot but no internet connection.
(thinks that something is blocking the internet connection, so i went to google around, turns out that telcos can disable the sharing of internet based on the APN)

Which telco are you on?

I am on starhub, original APN is shwap. (starhub has 3 APNs)

EDIT: Tested with different configurations, turns out that it is an APN settings problem.

If the APN using an authentication type or APN type, then it does not allow sharing of internet.

So i created a new APN profile for shwap with everything 'not set' and it works

Hey guys, seems like my phone has been bricked as well.. :/

Anyone bringing this up to CASE under Lemon Law? I wanna ask for a (partial) refund, as my padfone station has been dropped once and there is a small dent on the top right hand corner of the station.

uh, how do you know which are affected?

They provide a phone number for padfone 2 users to call in, maybe can trace via S/N, or they just check when you purchase it. Base on my understanding, those that bought their device before Feb 2013 will have this issue (think I got it and had my MB changed).

Anyone who had their phones bricked and are on the latest Starhub firmware? (10.4.9.6)

For those who had their phones unable to power on/bricked, which firmware are you on?
