One of the axis in the touch screen is reversed/flipped. Meaning, when I touch the left side, it registers on the right side instead. Very frustrating.

I am sure this can be fixed in software, but I am not sure how to.

Anyone knows how I can fix this?

wow.. not very sure...
I assume you already have tried the padstation calibration tool on the ASUS website..?

Hi all bro here,

Anyone here bought Asus micro USB to hdmi adapter? May I know where can I buy the original adapter and how is the image and sound quality after connecting to your TV?

Thanks in advance to all.

I bought an unofficial adapter off simlim and it was working alright, had no issues with audio/visual quality, but you have to make sure it doesn't shift around (coz it's the unmodified micro-usb adapter)

but it is quite a battery drain..

decided to connect my desktop to the tv instead... :p

Thanks for taking time to reply. I actually know the issue of unofficial adapter being loose when insert into the padfone usb port. I am afraid i might break the pin one day. That's why i would like to buy the original adapter. Btw, is yours the 5 or 11 pins adapter? Padfone 2 is using the 13pins MHL adapter.

Thanks.

Hi,

I'd just like to share my experience.

I recently cracked my Padstation (tablet) screen, although somewhat mysteriously (story for another time).

So I asked Asus for a quote to replace the digitizer (the LCD is fine) and received a quote for $360 which I thought was quite ridiculous, since ebay sells a brand new one at $280 after shipping.

So I shopped online and found digitizers for sale and bought one for just about under $100.

I tried to open the tablet myself but failed so I sent to a neighbourhood shop and the guy there managed to replace it for me.

However, now I have a problem. One of the axis in the touch screen is reversed/flipped. Meaning, when I touch the left side, it registers on the right side instead. Very frustrating.

I am sure this can be fixed in software, but I am not sure how to.

seems like the ahbeng shop fixed ur digitizer upside down :s22:

haha actually, I thought it was that, but I realised it was impossible.

The digitizer has the asus logo printed on the top left so orientation confirm can't be wrong. The connector also can only connect in one direction.

So.. the digitizer i think is faulty.

Trying to claim from ebay/paypal now. damn mahfun.

the digitizer is actually just the glass part.. the asus logo is on the frame iirc.. use a hair dryer to separate the glass and frame, then flip the glass to its correct orientation :)
