Asus and Asrock are one and the same group, so no need for them to compete with one another I guess.

Anyway, I am usually very skeptical about Asus delivering competitive pricing. They seem to live in their own bubble and price things out of reach for most people.

Asus products actually sell quite well in Singapore, despite the premium pricing. There's always Asrock to provide pricing at the other end of the market.

It is coming. But the pricing :s22: I reckon I might go for Asrock A300 or its upcoming successor instead.

According to Anandtech, pricing for the 4700U SKU is 370 pounds which is S$710 with GST.

According to HWZ, pricing for the 4700U SKU is S$1,169. Difference of S$459 but includes 16GB of RAM, 256GB SSD and Win 10 Home (Advanced). Assuming this 3 items cost S$300 (rough guess), we are looking at about S$160 premium locally (not factoring shipping cost).

Up to the individual whether the local warranty is worth the premium.

I think may be good to wait for awhile and see Amazon pricing in SGD. Local pricing is quite high. Considering the fact that previously one can get a Lenovo Slim 5 with the same processor and ram, but with a higher capacity SSD for around 1250+, this Asus mini PC is cutting it very close to the pricing.

yeah, forgot about the VAT. Can also save on the Windows 10 cost if you have an existing license to transfer. :D
