they said batch 1 preorder is suppose to be over at midnight...... then cancel my order, wait for batch 2 pre-order on 9 june.

my guess....is they don't want to give the $150 shop voucher.

your 1 should be ok..... $1099 - $150
mine is $999 - $150....
my guess is they earn $50~$100 per unit
so if they sell to me, pretty much they lose $.

Our power adapter seems to be power cable to adapter then to usbc. Unlike the us getting 2 pin at the adapter directly

Currently, confirmed 9 units received is defective.
4 of them have Thumbsticks not working.
3 units do not switch on
1 units has problem with Face Button getting stuck.
1 unit Blue screen of death

quiet worrying. Even if they rushed it, there shouldn't be so many reported and confirmed failures if their QC is on point.
