oh no, why the cancelling?

I ordered my set from them around 1 am plus. Hopefully they don't cancel my order
they said batch 1 preorder is suppose to be over at midnight...... then cancel my order, wait for batch 2 pre-order on 9 june. :ROFLMAO:

my guess....is they don't want to give the $150 shop voucher.

your 1 should be ok..... $1099 - $150
mine is $999 - $150....
my guess is they earn $50~$100 per unit
so if they sell to me, pretty much they lose $. :censored:

Our power adapter seems to be power cable to adapter then to usbc. Unlike the us getting 2 pin at the adapter directly

So, some customers in other countries started receiving their ROG Allys. It seems a high number of the units have minor issues or came defective...

Currently, confirmed 9 units received is defective.
4 of them have Thumbsticks not working.
3 units do not switch on
1 units has problem with Face Button getting stuck.
1 unit Blue screen of death

Sounds like a rush production line. Hope ours will have better QC before releasing. 😅

quiet worrying. Even if they rushed it, there shouldn't be so many reported and confirmed failures if their QC is on point.

Yeah, hope ours will have zero issues.

Steam Deck thread have, in the right place :

Handheld and Mobile Gaming

This thread should be there as well since ROG Ally isn't a console, its a Windows machine that's handheld.

Anyone bought from authorised stores and submitted the form for the gift? Did you receive any confirmation from ASUS?
