Hi all, just got the above board with ryzen 2200g. The bios will not retain its setting if I off the main wall socket. But if I just shutdown but leave the main power on, then it is fine.
Offing the main will also reset the bios date and time. Despite being a new board, I tried changing the cmos battery and the problem remains. Do you all think it is defective or is there something I missed out?

Thanks.

Sounds defective since you've already swapped out the battery. Might want to bring it down to the distro

Check is the reset CMOS pins are short together or not? Change the orientation first and try again see

Thanks both. I will ask for a swap or change the board from the seller.

On the jumper of the clear cmos, it is empty. There isn’t any shorting bar or connector there. I got a board few months back also don’t have such thing. It is just few pin there left in the open. Wonder if new board all come like that. If need to, I just short using a screw driver.
