any kind soul using this model? any review?

Thinking see upcoming IT show got promo....replace current DLink DIR890 with Dlink 16 Port Switch

Any idea the if use dual wan is use Wan port with port 1 or Port 1 n 2?


reason choosing this is becos 8 port and dual wan...also saw there is a feature for IPTV but no VLAN tagging feature so how it works with Singtel or SH?

I am using dual WAN with M1 on cool standby. I use one of the 8 LAN ports as the second WAN port. You can set the port you want to use as the second WAN. I only use one of the ISP at a time so i still can use Ai-protection to filter. If use both ISP bandwidth together then Ai-protection will be disable by default. For Starhub it can work because the phone and TV are connected to ONT and not the router. The router only handle internet. No problem at all. If my Starhub down, M1 will be connected and then we use the internet from M1 during the period when Starhub is not available.

so is not load balancing when you use 2 isp?
