I searched about 3 pages cannot find any thread on Asus Taichi. Anyone using this? Feedback please. I am looking to replace my 7 years old PC, so, now short listing some ultra book, if comes with touch screen will be best.

Which Zenbook you recommend? I see so many Zenbook from Asus's website I am so confused, lol.

Ya Ya ... I just saw these 2. Both are touch screen, slim, 13.3", SSD. Plus it is Asus... I think it will be down to these 2.

Just curious, how come the dedicated graphic card UX302 is cheaper than UX301??? Don't tell me that 28W processor required that huge price difference???

no sgunit only 16gb cache...750gb hdd.....need ownself change....and also 4gb ram nia....the ux302 screen 1080p and slightly thicker and heavier....while ux302 is slim and light but wif 1440p screen thats y more expensive...pointless imo

Pointless I agree. That sounds like cheating le, why everything which reach our shores become like that, haiz... anyway, I am slowly reading that 38 pages thread on this. Thanks for the information man.

so far places which i noe have stock....

asus store - 1998 standard gift as stated on brochure
newstead...2198 say "free" upgrade to 10gb ram and mouse....


pcdreams supposedly receiving today still waiting for their phone call..theirs good service and more freebies xD

another thing is ssd replacement is abit difficult...remove all screw underneath...then the rubbet feet need to peel off to remove another 2....some sets reported that no screw underneath the rubber feet...there after u need to remove the battery pack internal to get to the hdd bracket....ram only can change 1 of it the other is soldered on....ddr3l 8gb max 1600mhz

Yes will "void" talk to asus staff ytd....they themselve say just change no worries....when need claim....return items to stock can le....sg ux302lg....cfm is 16gb ssd + 750gb hdd.....only ux301 ssd stock...overseas the variation different

Its a bit hard to trust what they said but I guess I shall until 20th. So troublesome, feel like just sticking to HDD, lol.

for me i must have ssd...anyways normal la...i saw and check the laptop le....cfm no stickers at the screws so no worries on that...inside not that hard la...4gb ram is also too little..

That sounds nice, at least screwing and unscrewing, they won't know. 4GB is too little, just wondering why they don't offer customization option for the SSD/HDD and RAM.

all ssd have warranty as long buy locally...the only brand wif international warranty is intel....reason being intel 530 240gb from america was only 180 after shipped...while u can get samsung 840 256gb PWP for 199 when u buy from pcdreams....thus this 2 brands are the ones to get
