The updated prime is 1920x1200...cant see difference unless compare. It had same frame n weight...better wifi as its plastic back....but late of the year...it is being demo at ces2012

the high res screen would be good for remote desktop, definitely can see the difference

Was lucky to get the last Transformers Prime from HN-Suntec today after being directed from PP branch.
Must say, very impressed with this machine, tethered 3G from my Xperia Arc whole afternoon after getting it, immediately got updated to ICS ... SWEET!

Here's a burning question: How do i do Pinyin input for Traditional Chinese?

Tried a variety of inputs, cannot seem to get it right. Can only write, well, I can recognise all the words, but I cannot write in strokes loh!

Some kind soul pls advise? Thanks!

the dock...tablet itself no usb

Asus should have adopted the design of Acer Iconia where it has a USB port on the table itself. If the Transformer has a USB port on the tablet, it would be a even more solid product!

iconia do not have a SD slot...USB port looks "correct".
Asus had a SD card slot..just place your 32G SD and done...
The wifi version, will need teethering from your other device...else, through dock, usb dongle

Yupz, Google PINYIN IME worked ... finally got it running and of coz, can type in Traditional liaoz ...

I so want my HUAT in the Traditional Format. LOL

anyone encountered the dock not working properly after u bring the screen back from sleep mode?


some buttons work, but i cannot type and cannot see my mouse ... have to undock and redock ... sianz!

the 1st day, 12th jan 2012, when i bought my prime, i realised this problem. i sent it to the service centre since day 2 until now, it's still at the service centre. =x Asus has really poor after-sales service nowadays. my dock only works when my prime is connected to the power supply. it doesn't function at all on the go.

I think a lot of people having that problem. Read in transformer forum. Mine too but not as often as those people I read

actually, i am still running on honeycomb now, the prevailing ics issues kinda make me take 1 step back from updating firmware, wanna wait for everything to stabilise first.

What are the feedbacks from existing ATP users? I know rooting is doable. The stock ICS ROM is okay?
