Hey guys,

I recently bought a UX32LN Zen Book and noticed that some icons eg. Itunes looks distorted on the task bar.

I also noticed that all the admin windows eg. when you install something, when you click "This PC" from the windows menu.. it all looks to have very poor resolution.

Another example is Google Chrome where the top tabs bar have poor resolution compared to Internet Explorer..

Anyone can advice?

Regarding the resolution, you can may be do this: Right click on the program icon > Properties > Compatibility > Check: Disable display scaling.

I think that's for the desktop icon.. but the one im referring to is the taskbar icon that's at the bottom of your screen..

Even iTunes the program seems to have a poor resolution.

Anyone able to help? Is it a faulty laptop?

I believe it is Windows 8 scaling too. If you display everything at native resolution (1920x1080) without scaling, the apps appear sharp, but on a 13.3" screen they will look small.

The steps mentioned by Hakuteiken:
