No longer have the phone but I remember the updates was alright. Nfc as in pay wave? Yes it does.

haven't heard that many complaints about ramdump/motherboard issue for ZF9 and ROG 6 right? Maybe they managed to fix the issue that plagued so many ZF8, or maybe so many ppl got burned and gave up on the brand already. but if they did fix the issue, ZF10 would be a tempting option...

I didn't use it long enough to give a comment on this. This issue withstanding, the phone is pretty good imho.
