mine totally cant charged, sent in to service centre, awaiting for a one to one replacement as they dont service watch in sg.

if yours happen often, suggest you sent in and get a new replacement

agreed, the charging cable is v easy to spoilt. unfortunately, a few months back when my charging cable is spoilt i've been running around asus service centers / asus retail shops & they don't stock the charging cable. it is a very big hassle as if the charging cable is spoilt simply can't charge & there is no alternatives/replacements.

Asus should make an effort to sell the charging cables at retail shops & service centers. At least as a minimal customer service

but otherwise i think zenwatch 2 is a pretty good / capable and cheaper smart watch compared to many of the more expensive android wear smart watches.

zenwatch 2 easily has > 80% of the features of those more expensive ones (it is just as fast as the more expensive ones as the cpu snapdragon 400 is likely the same) and i don't think i lose any features i like or use from the 'android wear' platform

& more importantly, the watch strap are 'standard' watch straps used in ordinary watches, u could easily change the watch strap at any watch repair shops

as my bundled charging cable is spoit, and asus retail shops & service center don't stock them

i bought my replacement charging cable from amazon, waiting too long for asus retail shops & service center to stock that
http://www.amazon.com/Portable-Char...6314&sr=8-1&keywords=zenwatch2+charging+cable

i'd like to suggest that if many users here want to get spare charging cables for the zenwatch 2, that we request asus retail / service center to *stock* the zenwatch 2 charging cable locally
it is a piece of very much needed accessory

thank u. now figuring out wat i can do with android wear though... very new to me

Zenwatch 2 is probably the most featured Android Wear in the market. It has a handful of optional companion apps to interact with your smartphone. Comparatively, other Android Wear only have step and heart rate tracker.

I wrote a comprehensive review on the Zenwatch 2. Hopefully it helps you enjoy the watch better.

Got the ZW2 @USD129 from AMZ a month ago.
Like many here, wanted to try Smartwatch but not willing to commit too big a sum in case I regret my purchase.

So far, frankly, I have not come to feel that is an essential or did it make a significant change in my daily routine.

Only good thing I feel to date is the ability to use the watch and make a call thru OK google.
I drive and wear my BT headset.
Previously I will need to swipe to unlock my phone, do the "OK Google' thinggy to make the occasional call.
Now I just move my wrist to my face and i can make the call... safer for driver I guess...

Battery usage, with the usual notifications, always on, brightness 3... I will have>50% juice by the end of the day.
What I do note is that my LG G4 battery drain got more significant. Use to end the day with 30%+.. Now I hit that after lunch! Definitely need to charge my G4 in the day.

Maybe I am not using the watch to its full potential....
For now, its a good to have, but I am definitely glad I did not spend a bomb on it..
