Bros,

I just want to share my recent experience with UOB/Agoda. I have accessed the Agoda booking site from UOB as i want to enjoy the discount offered from using the card to book. When i go through to the final page, i did not see the discount reflected and i have thought that this will be in the form of rebate.

I even choose full payment because i understand that the discount is only applicable for pre-paid.

I then got in touch with UOB to check on the rebate and i was shocked to learn from them that they are not able to offer me the discount because i have "not booked from UOB/Agoda website".

I am 100% certain that i have booked from UOB/Agoda website as the purpose is to enjoy the additional discount (and do you know that the website is actually a few dollars more expensive than booking via Agoda direct?)

Not we are on a road of battle - it seems like UOB does not want to be held responsible and gave me the standard reply that they have tried to escalate the case but it is unsuccessful.

Hopefully no one will encounter this same experience so do be mindful.

Booked from zuji. Few hours later check, their price become 70+ instead of 36 one night hee :)

Pratunam area normally would stay arnoma, grand diamond, because is nearer to platinum mall. Wont stay baiyoke sky area, cause walk to centralworld and platinum mall is far :)

for Centre Point Pratunam do they check the number of people staying in the room? Because I have 2 children and the website say max 2 person

Can try staying at their deluxe executive, because got 2 queen bed.
Stayed before few yrs ago, their reception is kinda small, think they will be strict on it. Their extra bed is 60+ one person.

thanks.

I booked centerpoint for $60+ liao. I realised courtyard is $60+ now also. I remember last year was $100+

Because of the recent curfew thingy, so bangkok hotel during Jun to aug is cheap. Arnoma also 60 one night.

weird... i did tried out the other day... once you key in your card no, should be able to view price after discount... so it should be a upfront discount, no back end rebate...

I stayed before at mode sathorn, super good ! That time booked their executive room 50m2 metropolitan style with breakfast, one night two ppl 78 dollars.
Very worth, now think their price is 150 one night for executive room :)
Their executive room, in front of the bed is all transparent glass :)
Their room concept and design is one of the best, out of so many hotels that I have stayed in Bangkok. But wont stay there again, coz their price is not cheap :)

Location is just beside bts surak. Breakfast is not bad.

yup, their bath tub is very nice. Bath tub one room with separate shower.
Then toilet is another small room lol ... So the room is like a t shape maze lol ... My price that time is with breakfast ...

They have 2-3 themes to choose from. We chose the white purple, metropolitan style, our router is on top of our television :)

The discount will be there when you key in your credit card. You need to book from agoda.com/yourbankname
