stay in Silom area 2 days ago at a business suite that come with a big kitchen living room and a big bed room @ 70. it near the protest area where the police and army is checking those car is passing by, not much crowd near patpong night market too.

whats the name of the hotel?

If you didn't book it direct from the website, I would suggest emailing the hotel to find out if the booking has been made, especially since the pricing seems to be a glitch. Agoda might not honour it.

as long there is a voucher from agoda the hotel will honour the booking.

cause once you book from agoda. agoda system will auto book the reservation thru the FIT site of the hotel.

Normally after I have booked hotel from different portal, agoda hotels.com hc, expedia etc, would email hotel to check if they have received my bookings. So far all went thru

Now hotels.com have discount voucher You can google and you can apply to the hotel you wan to stay. Sometimes hc is cheaper, sometimes hotels.com etc.

still deciding where to stay in bangkok in late june.

If you want tourists attractions, can stay pratunam area, there have many malls. Big C, Centralworld, Platinum mall. Can try :
Amari watergate 100
novotel platinum 100
grand diamond 90
glow 85
centrepoint pratunam 70-90
arnoma 70-90

Else you can stay mbk siam paragon siam discovery centre that area, aka national stadium. There have some good hotels like mercure, VIE, siam swana , evergreen .

That's not exactly true. There have been cases of people booking with agoda and the hotel not having a record of the reservation. To be fair, its not only agoda and other online booking sites have this issue as well.

Think is always safe to email hotel before reaching there.

LOL ... eh so far is yes... just came back from perth few days back, super cold, but find the place not my type ... things so expensive ... bought one easter 500g chocolate egg 30 AUD x 50% off lol ....

May flying bangkok by SQ, managed to book their promo at 197 ...
then flying taipei at 65 per person taxes in , after using vouchers lol ...

their room big, not bad, 40m2 if not wrong. but read ppl review say their hotel room looks old, then decide not to choose there. Their cheapest price so far is around 60 one night lol ... think normal price is 70+ one night
