hmm i wonder when i select the rooms do i state 2 adults or 3 adults ? 3 adults more exp is it becuz they will provide a bed ?

like grand sukuvmit select 3 adults they only give the Apartment with 2 rooms

Yup. normally if you put 2 adults, then thprice is for 2 adults. But some websites not useful, for example, you put 3 adults, they only put 2 adults price, and then you reach hotel, you would be asked to pay for extra bed for 3rd adult.

Grand Sukhuvmit room is only for 2 person. Their extra bed is around 1200 thb . Stayed there once, booked deluxe with breakfast for 80 one night. Stayed two nights, upgraded to suite room, with one living room, 50m2, not bad.
Then asked for free late check out at 1400hrs.

Checked many websites didnt have so cheap.
I only managed to find 75 one night without breakfast.

Then managed to find arnoma without breakfast for 60 one night .
Grand diamond with breakfast 75 one night .
Amari watergate 80+ one night without breakfast.

My room was two twin bed, there is a phone in between with a table, maybe you can try to shift ? Or the third person can sleep on the sofa

amari watergate is pretty good, right opposite platinum shopping mall. the rooms are big and spacious. there is also a good tailoring shop there, for those that intend to tailor your clothes. i must say the tailor shop there is pretty popular

amari watergate is pretty good, right opposite platinum shopping mall. the rooms are big and spacious. there is also a good tailoring shop there, for those that intend to tailor your clothes. i must say the tailor shop there is pretty popular

yeah, got one stretch of shops doing tailoring from amari watergate area till rajrapraprop station.

Planning a trip to bangkok, booked Renaissance at $145/night. Was looking for cheaper alternatives at similar standards, what do you guys think of Amari Watergate at $114/night?

Read some reviews at tripadvisor, some said the rooms are dated, anyone can provide some insights on this? Or suggest similar alternatives around Pratunam / Siam Paragon area (never been there before, looks close in google maps)?

I prefer a room that is modern and clean, with a tinge of luxury. Don't mind sticking with Renaissance but was hoping to find something close at cheaper prices (below $120/night) and spend the excess cash on food/shopping. Thanks!

Stayed at Renaissance 3 yrs back. Booked at 180 per night, 3 adults with buffet breakfast. Room is 36m2, bath tub is nice. Good Location, just 1 min walk to amarin plaza. 3 min walk to Four face buddha. Breakfast, you can select your own fruits, and the person will make into juice for you.

Amari watergate is opened in 1994. Room size is 42m2. Breakfast is 653 THB per person. I would choose renaissance

Thanks! Booked my without breakfast though, don't usually wake up in time for breakfast while on holiday. So seems like Renaissance it is then!

yup everything in. for 3 nights. booked it in late april on promo at agoda.
