Will probabaly be staying in United Residence Ekamai for my other 2 nights.

i stayed there about 6 years ago. Good property and good serviced staff. Nice location actually if you do not need to be near party places. Sanam Pao area is nothing much, but nearby Victory Monument and Ari has plenty of food.

nice. for that price, can get free breakfsat + 65m2 living room plus sleeping room for 42.55 per night inclusive of taxes is superb !!!

Plus is 3 min walk from bts, take to siam bts is 4 stops ...

What is the policy like for starwoods bpg ?

So far only tried marriot BPG before, not bad, 25% towards my best price.
Booked Marriott sathorn 2bedroom suite + breakfast is 256 usual price.
Then found out other websites is 128.
Hence they offered me 25% discount of 128.
hence only paid 80+ for 3 adults in a 2bedroom suite + breakfast per night

SPG can do BRG even before make any actual reservation, but you need to book within 24h once they give you the new price. depending on how much monetary saving, sometime 2000pt on top of matched rate is better than additional 10%, considering 2000+some cash or 3000pt can get you a free room in some hotels in the program.

I always use hotelscombined to search price comparison. In my case, i spotted hotesclick.com got significant lower rate compare to other sites.

Anyway just booked abloom service apartment 3.5 stars.
3min walk to bts, 3 stops to ctc and 5 stops to siam and chitlom bts
Studio with breakfast 43m2 is 45 per night
Deluxe suite with breakfast 65m2 is 49 per night
Is a good price ... Usual is at least 2x the price hee

I booked from expedia. but just did a search, their price back to normal liao.
The price now is abt 90+ for deluxe suite with breakfast instead of 40+
normally glitch price very fast gone ...

Because when I did my marriott sathorn BPG, my was free cancellations. so is not that risky. The problem with BPG is that if your hotel is not free cancellations, later the hotel give excuses do not want to honour your bpg. then omg liao ...

My marriott sathorn bpg, first time was not honoured. Then rebook again, they honoured my bpg bookings...

coz my first marriot bpg was rejected.
however I cancelled my bookings and rebooked.
the second time, another person handles my case, and she approved it
and beat my price by 25% ...

anway u choose which option ? coz starwoods bpg has two options right ?
Find a lower rate and we'll give you a 10% discount or 2,000 Starpoints.

pls read again. i didn't book anything before hand when i request for price matched. Once they give me the new rate then i will go in and book as instructed within 24h. So the price matched is already confirm before i do any booking.

And i choose 2000pt, since it's only just 1 night booking, 10% isn't significant in my case. You will have to calculate which one is more beneficial to your situation when choosing the reward.

Diamond ratchada - 700baht - My top choice.
Mode Sathorn - 75sgd - Deal.com - Not bad, but I rather go for citrus 22 for this price.
Belaire - $60sgd - agoda - Lousy. =(

Coz only stayed before mode sathorn executive room, find it not bad.
Just wondering what is the strong point from citrus22 that makes u feel it is better?
Have also considered citrus22 before, but is inside the alley. Have tuk tuk out, but no tuk tuk into the hotel ...

Citrus22 not to deep into the soi anyway. when i stay in holiday inn can see its not to far in. but from soi 22 to asoke bts is quite abit of walking.

but their shuttle tuk tuk only one way so abit sian
sometimes their promo is kinda good, abt 40+ per night with taxes.
But superior is 22m2 no bath tub.
Think is the executive 30m2 then comes with bath tub
