I have one automatic laundry rack bought from Qoo10 2 years ago, it makes hanging the laundry a lot easier. It only has large led lights, no fan and no UV which is useless. I have placed a large fan below the rack and it’s far stronger than the small fans in the rack.

For taobao is there any model that can retract out of the hdb kitchen? Most model seem to be only for indoor?

now less than 200 can get liao.

don't bother about warranty, the amount you pay can get 2.

太太乐 all sold since 11.11.... i have been trying to place my order there :s13:

anyone know if can install at condo balcony ceiling?
Bro, do u have windows which u can close at ur balcony? If no, don't install as it won't work properly unless u just want a automated rack for hanging ur laundry.

For heat drying to work effectively from these automated racks, u need to do it in a enclosed area with just a small gap in one of the closed windows. This is to allow the hot air to vent out from the enclosed room else all the hot air from the rack's heater will escape out in a open air environment and won't be able to dry your clothes effectively. Fyi

I have a automated laundry rack dryer with heat fan and heat pump dryer

The dryer with heat fan is useless, i use the heat pump dryer when the weather is humid.
Are u using it correctly? U have to install the rack with heater in an enclosed room, leaving only a small gap in the closed windows for the hot air to vent out.

If installed in a open air environment, the hot air from the rack's heater will escape and won't be able to heat ur clothes effectively as u have found out...

Hi can you guys please recommend electrician, how much was charged?
Hi, during my renovation, my electrician installed for me at a very low price of $50. But he was able to do it for so cheap because i gave him a lot of job in my place where the total electrician cost was upwards $4k.

I think market rate is around $150 for installation of drying rack.

are they reliable though? i have a small wet area behind but there's a window and if I extend the laundry system out, it'll drip all over my aircon as the ledge is right outside...?

Does your aircon compressor get wet when it is raining? If yes, what is your concern of having some water dripping on it?

Furthermore, do you mean you are not using a washing machine for laundry? Most of the time, the tumbling would result in no water dripping when you hang the clothes up for drying. Well, at least that is the case for the 3 washers I have used in the past.

Lastly, the system is meant for indoor drying, why are you extending it out through the window?

maybe i've never used one before and was a little hesitant over price. yes currently using washer/dryer but there are occasional clothing - larger items or children clothes, which require handwashing and manual drying. through window makes sense for me at least when it comes to wind and sun. the way my lawn is structured, doesn't allow for sun or wind to enter. so yeah, have been pondering on the utility of investing in a system like this for years.

That is why a good laundry rack system will come with fan and heater for this kind of scenario so that all clothing can be dried indoors.
