i tot captain america grow old liao
The key point was imo, the court case of Jonathon Majors, whose role as Kang was supposed to be upcoming villain which will then usher in DD, got caught as a time where all the lead up movies and disney shows are playing out. That's why they get him back for these 2 movies - to save the MCU from the past 6 years of undesirable content. They're willing to throw money at him lol.
The usual trope for these is that these insanely strong enemies, the heroes have not yet attained a strength or fame enough for them to take notice. It's only when they made a name for themselves by taking down one of the guys they know that they start to turn their attention towards the heroes hence the ''delay''.Like dragonball, the next enemy is always more powerful… why the strongest enemy never come out first, easily pawn the rest
Thanos aldy v powerful
Even Iron man + Thor + Captain kena thrashed by him
cant imagine how much more powerful DD is
too expensive.
she also previously said she not playing mystic anymore due to the troublesome makeup process
When Kang was defeated easily by Ant man, I didn't take Kang seriously alr.The key point was imo, the court case of Jonathon Majors, whose role as Kang was supposed to be upcoming villain which will then usher in DD, got caught as a time where all the lead up movies and disney shows are playing out.
As usual, even without any sort of court judgement at that point of time, Disney chose to draw and cut the line, which meant Kang's storyline now have to be rewritten as a one off Ant Man boss despite the credit scene hinting at a much larger storyline.
Since there's no Avenger's level villian now, they got DD in but have a headache about who to cast since he was never planned to appear so early. Lump that together with all the Guild Writer's strike and DEI nonsense resulting in poor sales, and also the ''lesser'' superheros that's now taking the grand stage, getting RDJ back as a shock factor was one expensive solution that they hope will work, esp with Chris Evans coming back as well.
He's now integral to MCU in a sense since he's one of the more popular OG Six. But that also meant MCU now created a financial monster that they cannot slay with their own hands. The audience have already went through a decade and bonded with the OG Six and anyone else coming into their roles via time/space travel or comics patterns will inevitably be compared to them. When Kang was defeated easily by Ant man, I didn't take Kang seriously alr.
If it wasn't for JM case and Ant Man 3, RDJ could've been in "The Odyssey" movie. But he signed on for Doomsday first. The whole DEI nonsense plays a huge part for the past 6 years.
Also, the paycheck given by Marvel to RDJ is too good to reject.
Yeah lor, Jonathon Major sayang sia, tiagong he is actually innocent. The key point was imo, the court case of Jonathon Majors, whose role as Kang was supposed to be upcoming villain which will then usher in DD, got caught as a time where all the lead up movies and disney shows are playing out.

Yes, after he created Battleworld, he will ascend the throne and become God Emperor Doom. This is the story for Avengers: Secret War.Hory sheet...seems like this is God Emperor Doom!
Tbh, I don't feel hype if the newer cast carry an Avengers movie. Don't think anyone is. And Marvel can't afford to lose money for these two Avengers films. He's now integral to MCU in a sense since he's one of the more popular OG Six. Pretty unfair to the newer casts and actors but it is what it is.
just like our mataneed so many people to fight 1 Dr Doom meh? Is he that OP?
See that part again. Thor using 2FA (the hammer) to confirm that the Steve Rogers he's looking at is the same Steve Rogers that he knewReally quite stunned to see chris evans appear, but this time he probably isn't captain america since someone else already took the helm.

Need time lor. But newer cast always have a harder time to displace the original, esp if the original batch has become a well loved set of cast.Tbh, I don't feel hype if the newer cast carry an Avengers movie. We can only hope the mcu builds an even stronger set of cast for the next few phases because they cannot be bringing rdj and Chris Evans back every time. They're too expensive lol.
