hello, i'm new here.
Just received my Aviva shield renewal plan, and am shocked that the rider part has increased to $499.20 (cash)!
Just wondering is it worth to continue buying this rider, or should I change insurance provider?
I see that NTUC income plus rider is only $268. Erm, any catch on this? Should i change to NTUC income instead?

I realised Aviva has increased both their shield plan and riders drastically, but not other providers. Is it the others have not increase price?

Income's Plus Rider is "no-frills". Covers deductible, co-insurance and there's hospitalisation cash benefit if one opts for a lower class than entitled. Other insurer's rider got more frills - refer to insurer's website for details.

For shield plan, I think GE,AIA,PRU have better coverage and good service.
NTUC have lowest premuim
Aviva is good for couples have more than 2 kid, because they cover kid free for restructure hospital A ward
