Useful, may open some doors, but more important is what you know about it, not if you have a cert or not.

Hi,

Just want to let you guy know how i pass this certification only last week.

It is truth that this exam require lots of knowledge, but with real determination and willing work hard and try even harder. It is still possible to pass this exam. (Please don't ask me about any brain dump as I will not give you any since this test require you to work really hard for it ).


How I pass:
1) Sign up the UDMEY course from ACLOUDGURU.

2) Try to take as many trial test you can find. Some may not give you right answer, but the objective is to learn from the type of question asked. Go do research on each type of question and try to come up with your own answer... this way will help you to learn

3) Read up some blog from others who has passed. This website prevented me to post some useful blog.

4) Go try up the real AWS online.. (but remember to watch on the expenses else your credit card will blown away)

5) Commit yourself at least 3-5 hours per day for 2 weeks just to understand each of the area asked in the blueprint. This is follow by around 2 weeks to learn how the test.

6) You need lady luck to with you since the questions asked may sometime be confusing. Just focus on the key point asked in the questions and use logic to eliminate those wrong questions.. that should do the trick.

Personally, I have been on AWS for a number of years. Recently, just attempted and passed the exam. I would say some of the questions are really tricky ...sometimes all are technically sound solutions, only one is the most effective.

In terms of CPFSS - Cost-Efficiency, Performance, Fault tolerance, Security and Service Limits.

Try to read a bit on the whitepapers on "Well-Architected Framework"

Anyone have recommended pathways for learning AWS in 2021?

Assuming you have some tech background (but not using AWS actively), i think you can start with AWS Solution Architect - Associate, and then move on to either SysOP/Developer Associate (if you have time to invest).

Of course you can follow me YOLO, take SA Pro directly by skipping the associate equivalent. I did that cause i use AWS for by my day-to-day job, and also spent sometime brushing up my foundation by reading up some SA associate contents.

CITREP & Skillsfuture - both subsidized by IMDA to offset a lot.

yes you can use skillsfuture.

There's also CITREP: 70-90% off the course fee.
Criteria:
Singaporean/PR
MUST PASS THE EXAM before you get the grant. you have 1 year after course date to take the exam and claim back from IMDA.

Not trying to **** talk about any training provider, but 3 days of Advance architecting / Architecting in AWS ? How can we absorb the contents for SA Associate or SA Pro within 3 days?
