Hi, Ive heard that axa actually gives 8-11% return for their life multiprotect plans and could stop paying from 15 years onwards where if I sign up for a up to 65 years old package. Any advise for axa's life multiprotect? (as I have already got some insurance with other company, and keen to take this up for retirement plan)

There is no way for anyone to give to give 8-11% for a whole life plan with multiplied CI coverage.

8-11% just sounds like the PAR fund performance range of various insurance companies for 2017 which was a very good year for equities. It's not going to happen every year, and the insurance companies don't give you all of the gains from the PAR fund performance.

yup,I am aware of that. sort of like too good to be true. Any alternative ways to plan a retirement plan that gives high return? (For 10-15 years)

No way a life plan that’s designed for CI can give you a good return for your retirement.

Buy what suits your needs.

AXA multi protect is a life plan. If u wan retirement plan u shld be looking at retire happy plus.

The best guaranteed high return retirement plan would be CPF Life. So first things first you would want to max out your RA and pump it to the ERS as soon as possible after reaching age 55. If you are younger than 55, then you should try to top up your SA and MA as much as possible.

With this guaranteed base retirement income from CPF Life in place, you can then choose your preferred risk profile when investing with the rest of your money. If you are happy with 4% returns from 4.75% insurance PAR fund performances, then there are several retirement plans at this rate available from insurance companies.
