Asus ROG Strix B350-F Gaming or MSI X470 Gaming Plus / Pro Carbon.

And also ... does Corsair Vengeance RGB LED 2666MHZ compatible
with either one of these mobo ... thanks

Neither. Will choose A320.

If I die die must choose between the 2, I would go for MSI X470 Gaming Plus. More value for money than the lower end strix and the higher end colour Pro Carbon series.

Also, the ram is compatible. 2666mhz is a sure hit speed no matter Ryzen 1 or 2

U need to Google the model. Since transcend SSD is normal decent one not like samsung that kind. So it's also up to see if such SSD is up for your task or not.

If you have the budget and required good speed for processing the work will be good to go for 970 pro.

Normal ssd would be good enough, you better using nvme for work drive to facilitate fast read and write for huge files, it's a waste for os drive. Even then you might not even feels the difference if you don't read and write big files all the time.

No need, just check your min/max support ram speed for your CPU that can handle. Since you not overclocking (OC as in im not talking about boost mode) then just get those mobo that within your budget and upgrade some other components.

and so I bought all the things that I need to build my first Ryzen PC.
Will soon try out how to OC it.
Here is the final product ...

- MSI x470 gaming plus
- Corsair 2666hrz 16gb C16
- Corsair vertical bracket full set
- Cooler master ML120 RBG

Below are from previous intel setup ... D:
- samsung SSD 250GB
- phanteks p400 no TG
- asus 1080
- superflower 650 modular
- rear fan GT 120.

Of corse not as power or satki like the rest. To me its worth an upgrade of CPU change
