Anyone using capella stroller?

Is their stroller good?

I'm using the Capella Freemove in particular. If you're looking at that particular model I strongly suggest you to find other models or in fact look at other brands entirely.

Few reasons why I don't like it: 1) Flimsy built - everything from the handle to the wheels. When you push the stroller and there's too much weight (baby + diaper bag in the below compartment) the handle doesn't stay in place. The handles can be adjusted to varying angles but the mechanism is a cheap one and it's so annoying to me because it wobbles in place. 2) Forward & Rear facing - wife and I bought this stroller in favour of this particular feature so we can see our precious baby while pushing her around. And we like that we don't have to remove the entire seat or swivel it around like some strollers. In this case just lift some mechanism on the sides of the handle and it's good to go. However, when it's rear facing the 4 wheels doesn't move together. This Freemove has a very weird way of pushing once its changed to rear facing. We realised we stop using the rear facing entirely and stick to forward facing eventually. 3) Small under-seat compartment. 4) Wheels are small - going over humps or small gaps like drain covers or even lift gaps can be quite intimidating with a baby inside. 5) Cannot hang anything remotely heavy on handlebar which will cos it to topple. 6) Click mechanism to adjust the angle of baby's lying or sitting position. Another feature we thought we would appreciate but no. We found it such a letdown. Again, mechanism is cheap and flimsy. It has only 3 angles to offer. Other brands are better off with the traditional way.

My advice, don't buy Capella stroller or in particular the Freemove model. We purchase directly from the distributor and got several freebies and slightly cheaper price. But after few months we were already looking for new stroller.

Agree with this, don't buy those fanciful and expensive type. Bought a $899 Quinny, in the end still $120 yoya taobao No.1 preferred choice.

Totally agree! But I find it hard to navigate Taobao hahaha so I get mine from Shopee, here's the link if you need it

Pesonally like McLaren. Light and compact. Long lasting (10 years for me).

The Fox is marketed as an all-terrain type.. too overkill for a well-developed urban country like Singapore and it's damn heavy. Even at it's lightest configuration, it's more heavy than their popular Bee series.

IMO the Bugaboo Ant looks more promising as an alternative to Babyzen Yoyo. The folding part is a bit "mafan" though, I counted about 5 steps and not sure if you can unfold with one hand only, which the Yoyo can do and in only 1-2 steps (need some practice, but it's doable!).

My cousin got the Combi Compact Folding Stroller-GL from Shopee and it's quite convenient. I usually go out with her and I'm really quite impressed with the stroller can one hand fold and it folds into compact size to fit in her car. For ref her baby is 2 year old 14kg-ish bah???

Ergobaby, the material is quite rough, cos mostly synthetic fabric.
Tula is the most padded and comfortable, but also the hottest cos thick.
We use Kinderpack the most, soft after seasoning and very light.

Previously bought a Recaro EasyLife stroller when we wanted to go travelling. At first thought the folding was small and easy to handle. But after having to fold it and open it countless time, it become very tedious.

These day using a Cybex Melio. The folding is super simple and very fast. Ride is also very stable and smooth. Comes in 2 variant, normal grey colour for $799 and a carbon-fibre one at $899.

Sflr, she say retail 499 but that time got some baby online fair she bought like $420++ or so only leh. Not sure if you can check it out if there will be additional vouchers or discounts on 9.9 since sale period coming? haha

The Melio Carbon ($899) is 5.9 kg and the fold is bigger. Can't compare to Yoyo (3kg) but definitely easier to fold. It's just 1 flick and it autofold into a standing position.

The ride is more stable than Yoyo, cos the wheel base is wider.

Have been using the Combi Mega Ride Deluxe for over 2 years and it’s very robust and I especially love the handbrake feature. Previously wanted to get Quinny Moodd but it’s too heavy or Stokke but my wife said too expensive.

Carrier wise I was using ErgoBaby 360 and it’s pretty comfortable and very useful when I go for trips. But not for very long, my son didn’t want to sit in it anymore.

So now’s just the stroller on weekend outings.

Go mothercare harbour front to test it out. Got weight for u to put on stroller.

Yoyo looks flimsy but i tell u it is more sturdy than my Combi 4cas stroller

There are more sturdy strollers compared to yoyo but all cost more than 1k and super bulky
