Back button gesture on iPhone X

Before iPhone X, I am always using Android phones, which always have back button at the bottom. Now when using iPhone X, without back button, I feel it is very annoying to use the phone by one hand, not sure if there is anyway to solve this?

For examples:
  • In Whatsapp, when I am in a conversation with a person, I want to go out to open other conversation. However, the "back" button is on the top left corner and there is no way that my right thumb can reach to that position.
  • On Facebook, when I click to the "comments" just to read other people comments instead of commenting anything, the keyboard is shown up, covering the comments. How can I hide it with 1 hand?

Thanks.

1. Swipe to your right to go back. (App doesn't have that? Time to look for an alternative one  jk try to put a request to the devs.)
2. Enable reachability. Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Reachability.

Once enabled, swipe down on the home indicator.

You may want to consider not using the Facebook app and rely on Safari to browse Facebook instead.
it's a huge battery hog and the app does creepy things.

I tried "Swipe to your right to go back" in Whatsapp, and end up it became quoting a message instead...

I always use Facebook app on Android... feeling the UI is much friendly than browsers, and faster also...

Hmm, try this. Start swiping in from the edge of your phone.

Edit : Maybe try doing it in some default Apps like Settings. Then once you get the hang of it, try it on WhatsApp.

With regards to Facebook...

Facebook comment. You just need to touch the blank space beside any comment made by others. The keyboard will disappear.
