Hey guys, i'm thinking of going on a long backpacking trip with 2 other friends.
Budget is about 3k per pax.

Any suggestion where to go and what we can do there? Don't mind going budget..

Taiwan - sightseeing, eat, shop at taipei
NZ - sightseeing, roadtrips, ice glaciers

3k including air tics? if yes, then NZ is out.

for Taiwan still doable but can be quite tight. I did a very budget trip, rented a scooter, 2 weeks spent about 1.2k including air tics, camping and staying at hostels. and no shopping at all, ok lah, i bought some books :o. if you include shopping and paying admission fees, and train tickets, etc, 3k can be quite tight.

thanks for the reply bro. if we choose NZ prolly will shorten to 2 weeks only.

Any other location you can suggest that fits our budget? 3k can be with or without air tickets

3K can probably get you 3 weeks in our ASEAN neighbours, like Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia. Use budget accomodation and travel, and eat local foods.
