(It's so hard figuring out how to post a new thread, LOL) :s11:

Is Osprey a very good backpack? I read so, but would be great if I could hear first-hand opinions. :s12:
I'm looking for one between 34L - 40L, what's the best recommendation? :)
I'm about 162-163cm tall, female.

Roughly, what's the price of an Osprey pack in Singapore?
Can they only be found in Sports Connection shops? :s22:

Or are there better backpacks out there with reasonable prices too?
(I know I've seen similar threads before, I'm sorry! And thanks in advance.) :o

Make sure to try out the pack in the store; women's body shapes are a lot different than men's. A friend of mine spent hours looking for hers and I think she went with a womens-specific bag.

I have owned an Osprey for 5 years and it has been with me for over 10 trips. Light and sturdy. It was expensive though.

Not sure how into or often you intend to backpack. If it is part of your future travel plan, do get a light one. The additional weight will be a multiplier as you move on.

Add-on. Some of the backpack may be comfy when no load due to the padding. (Just like my sold deputer, it weight 2.5 kg compare to Osprey Hornet 600g. Capacity just more by 10 lit for deputer)

i am using an Osprey Stratos, bought in 2010.
used for many hiking trips, as well as daily to work... so far so good.

Osprey is expensive, but with lifetime warranty, i find it very worth it. even for wear and tear, they can help u stitch for free.

Osprey price shld be standard in sg. coz there is only one official distributor, which is sports connection. i havent seen any other shops selling Osprey.

The tatonka flight case weights 1.65kg and is cabin size. Easy to take stuff out from the bag and is lockable. 40 litres (some website list it as 44 litres). Has really good reviews. Just google for the reviews.

I'm female. I have had several backpacks but this is definitely the best buy ever. I stopped using the other backpacks.

I carried this for a 5 weeks backpacking trip.

Queensway Shopping Centre. Cheapest. Can't remember how much I bought it for. The uncle don't carry a lot of stock.

Isetan and some travel specialty stores carry as well but much more expensive.
