Backpacks for backpacking

What is a good size to bring on a plane? I had a tatonka 70l but obviously too big to bring on board as hand carry.

Have you tried looking at the 50L (40 + 10) Deuter? I'm using it. It fits in all my stuff easily and haven't had problems so far to bring on board as hand carry.

Max carry on size is about 45L, though you can probably get away with slightly bigger bag if it's a soft bag and not fully packed. 45L is pretty big for a single person, so I would generally suggest a bag smaller than 40L.

REI is more or less a house brand. Used to buyfrom them but shipping costs sucks. So change to sierratradingpost for most purchases.

Dude for sierra trading post, what did you use to ship over to sg?
Vpost?
