Bad and Good Purchase Experience - Techa (Techabyte) vs Performance PC

Recently wanted to DIY PC build and all required parts ordered on shopee were delivered within 2-3 days.
Corsair official store: 2-3 days
Make Fine: 2-3 days

However, purchase of CM 694 case and g skill ripjaws s5 held me back by 11 days.
Ordered online (Shopee) from Techa on 26 Feb mon night and they confirmed on shopee 27 Feb morning that "Seller updated that your parcel has been shipped / is ready for collection. Please message the seller for updates on your parcel." Therefore, vendor must agree to cancel order! Msg their CSO several times but response always came earliest the next day and only after further prompting. CSO was unhelpful and only gave "lip service". Finally on 8 Feb, they ask me to request refund as there were issues with my order.

The thing is CM 694 case is not readily available but Techa says they have 10 units available on shopee and 4 units on amazon sg (on 7 Feb)! You decide. What kind of business practice is this? Lock in order first then settle sourcing of item?

I then ordered on 8 Feb friday night different case and ram from Performance PC. Frankie was exceptional and prompt responding to chat and phone call. Items are on their way today!!

Next time, try to avoid sellers that only offer "seller's own fleet delivery." Unless it listed as a preorder, sellers normally have to ship within 2 days. If they can't ship out by that time, they have to ask you to click on the "extend Shopee guarantee" button otherwise Shopee would cancel the order automatically. Using "seller's own fleet delivery" is how they get around all that buyer protection.

Curious why you do need the CM 694 case ? This case is more intended for storage space
than gaming.
Long graphic card wise, the HDD cage must remove if not won't fit.

I am using this case it have it's limitation so I won't deem it a gaming case.
Cooler Master TD500 V2 on the other is for gaming but storage wise
it only support up to 2 HDD.

CM case to my knowledge locally their stocks are very limited unlike Tecware.
Tecware wise are easy to buy than CM.
Not sure why unless anyone from distro can share.

when it comes to SLS shops on shopee/lazada/qoo10, better to ask them on stock availability before you order.
i don't think they sibeh on and update the quantity one, just list and forget liao.

Good choice but than that model no front USB-C.
Only TD500 V2 have front USB-C.

Sorry to hear the mishap but thanks for the warning. I will only purchase item from reputable shops and to those seller who respond fast, even after sales.
my top shops form either Shopee or Lazada will be as follow

of course to compare prices but at times I don’t mind paying the extra as these are well known to respond fast, good customer service and even after sales.

Though I have no experience with Techabyte but I have extremely bad experience and by far the worst shop I have encounter. I black list this shop NVX System. Even my colleagues and friends had this encounter too. Though refund were made but it's just a waste of time with their not reliable, full of lies and extrememly rude attitude. If I may, I would give them an oscar award for best con artist.

Carousell is not a legit shopping platform. It is a platform for 2nd hand goods trade, at best a marketing platform for biz to hawk their wares. So all deals must be conducted in person, cash-on-delivery. Never had any problem with "paid but goods not shipped/delivered" nonsense, even if it is a brand new item.

Techa is just really strange, I bought 3 times from them, before you buy their response are usually fast, after you buy it become really slow. In the end I still get my stuff but it is just very strange behaviour. Another thing is they will place very expensive parts outside your house, I mean if you going to deliver a 3k computer component you do not leave it outside your house, it is fine if it is toilet paper or something that is worth little.

The different stock number I can understand, they probably not have a system that sync their inventory across all platform, so the numbers is off, since they often provide the cheapest deal around I guess cannot really blame them for trying to be as lean as possible.

Sounds like based on the carousell conversation you are at wrong here. Also sincr you have never confirmed your purchase nor paid and not even having an ivoice, most definitely it did not happen as your claims. Otherwise provide your invoice as proof. Otherwise your claim is baseless defamation.

The vendor has provided evidence that there was no order. At this point, you should either provide proof of your allegations or apologize. Just saying "can't be bothered" is not good enough.
