Wondering anyone been to Bang Saen in Chonburi? Nothing much on google aside from a night market.

Basically going to catch a football match in Chonburi but was thinking instead of going back to bangkok might at as well spend a night in Bang Saen

Locals go there to chill and eat seafood at the beach. Look out for famous "gai yang" or roast chicken cart but there are many now claiming the name much like our Katong did for laksa or Changi for nasi lemak. Waters more like our East Coast beach than island beach resort but its supposedly cleaner than Pattaya's.

Besides fresh seafood Bangsean is also a "uni town" with Burapa Uni having a very large campus there. Needless to say a few dance clubs and pubs have sprung up catering to the uni students. If you like clubbing I think prices here lower than Bangkok and plenty of eye candy! :D
